I have the opinion that we have just achieved level "Epic" when it comes to HUG events. We may not have been the biggest but I can confidently say we were the best!
Yesterday about 100 marketers, entrepreneurs and educators gathered together to listen to the diva of marketing himself Dan Zarrella! A nationally syndicated speaker, Zarrella was persuaded to come out here for FREE and give us us San Diego Marketers a treat. I think he also enjoyed it, quoting his instagram account.
"One of the coolest speaking locations I've ever done, a barrel room at a brewery."
And it was packed!

We started off the day with the winners of our #DateWithTheDans contest winners enjoying a free breakfast and loads of marketing & sales strategy during a 50 min "date" with Dan Zarrella & Dan Tyre at the Great Maple.

We also had the #SDHugPhoto contest where 2 winners received a signed Dan Z book with a fancy photo opp too.
We wanted to send a special shot out to Karal Strauss and Woodstock's Pizza for always giving these events a SoCal feeling!
All in All we had 100 people, 100 slices of pizza, over 100 beers, gave out a ton of ping pong balls, and we just made HUG history. Any ideas on how to top this next time?
